- How is overlapped photography set by HIEI-G4?
-
Overlapped photography is set by synchronizing the scanning line of the monitor-controller to the ground speed.
When using VB-03, it can be set in the range of 10%-90%.
Camera Mount for Vertical Photography (option) and a Monitor-Controller (option) are required.
- How can I continuously take many photographs during a 3-4 hour long flight?
-
The time and the trouble of exchanging the film during the flight can be saved by using a few sets of the optional Film Magazine.
When using the roll film holder, depending on the intervals of the photography, there is a method to prepare 2 cameras and change the film in one of the cameras using the darkbag, while taking photographs by the other camera.
Depending on the number of shots, an additional battery on reserve may be required.
- Can I set the camera to a radio-controlled helicopter?
- It is possible, though we presently do not have sufficient data of such conditions.
Regarding the spec of the helicopter, you should take the weight of the camera and other devices into account and cousult the manufacturer of the helicopter.
- How long is one shutter cycle?
- It varies between 0.9 - 1.3 sec., depending on the external diameter of the rewinder.
( At automatic photography mode, it is set at 3 seconds.)
*One shutter cycle: time it takes for a shutter to be ready for another release after it is released.
- Can the camera be set to another mount ?
- In the case you mount the camera on your mount-system, we need to examine your mount for the possible connection.
The best way is to use the original camera mount VB-03 for HIEI-G4.
